Helpful Resources & Information for COVID-19

Keeping your workforce healthy in today’s environment is a top priority for employers. The news is changing by the minute and new guidelines are being updated each week as the spread of COVID-19 reaches more places and affects more people. It can be overwhelming to stay abreast of the updates as they occur.

At French Gerleman we support your efforts to protect your workforce by offering the most recent recommendations as a reference.

OSHA Recommendations & Standards for COVID-19

OSHA is helping companies stay up-to-date with the requirements and standards to help keep your workplace safe and operating. They’ve compiled a list of helpful suggestions, including:

  • Frequent hand washing and avoiding touching the face
  • Hand sanitizer with at least 60% alcohol
  • Performing one hand washing for every three times a worker uses hand sanitizer
  • Disinfecting surfaces every hour for high trafficked areas
  • Using disposable cups and tableware
  • Making hand sanitizers, tissues and trash cans available throughout the workplace
  • Developing overall policies related to illness prevention, sick leave, family medical care, and other federal regulations, and educating workers on the policies
