French Gerleman, an independent distributor of electrical, automation, datacom, power transmission and safety products, is pleased to announce the 20th anniversary of their Kansas City branch. This has been a big year for the Kansas City location as they recently hired a new vice president, the first VP outside of the St. Louis headquarters. Craig Reynolds, the VP of Western Region, is tasked with the growth and expansion of their geographic footprint as well as oversight of the Kansas City regional operations center and market analysis.
The Kansas City office, which currently employs 28 team members, is looking to hire five new employees to join their team. At the moment, they are averaging one new hire a month, adding to their talented team. Within the next year they are hoping to expand their reach into other regional markets.
“We are excited to see the growth of our Kansas City branch,” said French Gerleman president Mike Stanfill. “Craig is a terrific addition to our leadership team, and brings with him years of experience, a strong emphasis on customer experience and a desire to strengthen and continue the growth of our company.”
French Gerleman Kansas City branch is celebrating their anniversary with a Holiday Open House Event December 3, 2014, from 11:00 a.m.-1:00 p.m. There will be a luncheon for customers as well as vendor partners on hand to answer questions and hand out samples.
“Our branch is excited to host this Holiday Open House to thank our customers and vendors for their support over the past 20 years,” said Reynolds. “This is a milestone year for our company, and we look forward to our continued growth and involvement in our community.”
